About the Open & Smart Advisory Committee

The Open & Smart Advisory Committee is a group of City staff that coordinate and advise on the City of Austin's use of emerging technologies.

The Committee includes City executives, project managers, and staff at all levels from across City departments. It oversees Austin's smart city initiative, helps technology projects troubleshoot challenges, and integrates open government practices into the City's use of technology.
